Can We Really Hear JESUS' Voice?

Nobody has really seemed to have taught or reminded us that we may be able to hear JESUS' Voice as He wills to speak to us.

We may have heard someone saying that praying is more of listening rather than speaking, but we may never have actually realized nor experienced JESUS speaking directly from within us.

What did JESUS say about this?

John 10:27

My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Should we believe Him?

Of course, without any doubt. As we may all have read, JESUS use parables when He speaks to those who does not belong to Him. But to His disciples, He speaks plainly and explains all of the parables according to GOD's truth. So, every word that JESUS said are true both literally and in His deep or hidden meanings.

However, unlike those in the Old Testament wherein as we've read, GOD our FATHER spoke to His prophets and servants from heaven or face to face, as He wills, now in JESUS' [our] time He wills to speak to us from within.

For He wills to continue to give each one of us specific and even detailed instructions and commands as to how all of our FATHER's Will may be followed and done within and through us in our varied situations daily, He sent us His HOLY SPIRIT.

We may no longer hear GOD's audible Voice from above or around us, but rather JESUS by His HOLY SPIRIT may share with us His Thoughts and Feelings from within, He may manifest within and through us His Wisdom and Eternal Love that reaches up to heaven and not just for here while we're on earth. As He wills, He may prompt us, even speak and write through us, go and work from within and through us.

To make us His possessed body by His HOLY SPIRIT, literally we are being made His temples, vessels and instruments for Him to be able to continue His Works towards our brothers and sisters.

There are times when He wills to have us awaken in the middle of the night, when we may be alone in our thoughts and feelings so that He may clearly share from within us or manifest through us His Own or to make us join Him in His watch through the night.

How can we start hearing His Voice [again] from within?

Maybe when we were little, we have already experienced hearing His Voice from within, we may have even had conversations with Him. Thinking that it's just our own thoughts and feelings, but actually they are GOD's.

However, since nobody seem to have taught or told nor reminded us as we were growing up, we may have forgotten and just got used to listening to our own thoughts and feelings and of others rather than His.

GOD knows everything, what we think and feel even before we can or do. It may take our full surrender and submission of everything and everyone, not just all of our own thoughts, feelings, beings and our full faith in only GOD in order for us to hear His Voice. The same two things needed for us to be fully possessed and dominated by Him and become His Kingdom on earth as in heaven.

We may need to be healed and opened again for JESUS may not speak to us if He knows and can see that we are not going to listen to Him anyway and we are not [totally] open to following His commands and instructions. If we would rather just listen to ourselves or others rather than GOD. So, we may also humbly ask for GOD's forgiveness and healing.

And we can also start or continue reading the Bible [one chapter from the Old Testament and one from the New daily], but this time as we read instead of just trying to understand what His Words mean with our own knowledge or of others, we humbly ask our Lord JESUS if He wills to share His Own Thoughts and Feelings about them and give us instructions. Asking for clarity of mind and heart, we humbly wait for our Lord.

It may take for us to finish reading the whole Bible once, twice or as He wills, He may start reminding us about all of His Words even before we finish.

So, you may wonder and want to ask, does these mean that we can actually hear JESUS' Voice from within? Is JESUS able to share His Thoughts and Feelings from within and through us as He wills?

Then in reply we would ask, where do you think did all of these truth and realization come from? How did we come to know about these things if it did not come from our HOLY SPIRIT? Nobody taught or told us, we didn't get to read, hear or watch these things from others, and this may be the first time that even you are actually able to read about these things. There are times that even the truth that are coming out of our mouths and writings, we ourselves do not even know or realize until they have been spoken or written through us.

So how will we all know if the thoughts, feelings, words that are coming and going through the minds and hearts our FATHER are lending us are the ones coming from GOD?

By the Gifts and Graces of our HOLY SPIRIT manifesting within and through us, these are some of His Ways that we may recognize and discern His thoughts and feelings apart from our own and from all others:

1. They are in the perspective of GOD and not of mankind. On how GOD truly sees and perceives things. On what and how He really wills, plans or allows for all to be done.

2. They are for the good of all and not just our own and our families or loved ones. And yes, they include even those who may be oppressing us.

3. They are focused on our spiritual needs, for all of our souls' salvation and not just on temporal needs. Focused on all of GOD"s Will and Plans for us to be with Him in His Kingdom.

4. They seem to be familiar to us, as if they were just at the back of our minds, but we haven't really heard them before. Like they have always been there from the beginning, but it is only now that we are starting to realize in all of GOD's Truth.

What's more some if not all the time, especially if we haven't been fully conformed to GOD yet, His Will may be the opposite of ours and of many. This is because He wills for us to have [again] willingness to fully submit all to Him and for us to have full faith and trust in only Him.

Because regardless of how we or others can see or analyze things, only GOD always sees and knows all. Not just our past, present or future, but He knows and can see within each and all of us. He is the Only One who knows how each of us and all things are related and can affect each other. How each of our past, present and future may lead us or others to either stray from Him, but most importantly how to lead and gather us back to Himself and how all of His Will and Plans are going to be accomplished within each and for all of us.

Isaiah 55:3, 6, 8-9

Pay attention and come to me;

listen, that you may have life.

I will make with you an everlasting covenant,

the steadfast loyalty promised to David.

Seek the LORD while he may be found,

call upon him while he is near.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

nor are your ways my ways—oracle of the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways,

my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

For us to have what it takes to experience this and continue our communion with GOD, we may ask our FATHER for all the gifts, graces and all that He knows we need that we may start or continue hearing His Voice from within as He has willed and intended as being part of His sending us our HOLY SPIRIT.

Let us ask our FATHER for all that we need that He may continue to perfectly reign within us and live through us along with His specific and detailed instructions and commands on how to follow and conform ourselves to live by His Way, Truth and Life until death as part of His making us His One Body and One with Him, our MOST HOLY TRINITY.

Matthew 7:7-11

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread,

or a snake when he asks for a fish?

If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him.

John 14:12-14

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.

And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.

Matthew 6:9b-10

Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as in heaven.
